Delete your GoalX account and data

You can request deletion in the app or contact GoalX's independent developer, Raja Chakraborty.

Delete in the app

1. Export any backup you want to keep. Deletion cannot be undone.
2. Open your profile and choose Delete GoalX account. Sign in again if asked.
3. Review the disclosure, then choose Delete account and data. Cancel leaves your account in place.

When the request is accepted, account access is blocked and records on that device are cleared. Cloud erasure normally completes within 24 hours. The acceptance message confirms your request, not completed erasure. Contact support if it takes longer or you need confirmation.

Request deletion without the app

1. Email from the address associated with your GoalX account when possible. Use the subject GoalX account and data deletion. State that you want your account and associated cloud data deleted, or identify the specific data you want removed.
2. We may ask you to verify account ownership before acting. Never send a password, sign-in code, bank details or identity document.

What to include in your request

You can request deletion of sign-in access, profile information, synced accounts, transactions and savings goals, conversation history, AI usage records and any optional update-registration information. We will confirm the scope after verifying ownership and explain any records retained for operational, security or legal reasons, including the applicable retention.

What remains

We retain your account ID, deletion request ID and completion time to prevent old sessions from restoring deleted data. This minimal access-denial record has no scheduled expiry. Provider security logs and backups follow their own retention. Exported backups and copies stored on other devices or shared by you must be removed separately. Uninstalling GoalX alone does not delete cloud data.

This page does not submit a request. A mail link opens your email app; send the message yourself. Cloud erasure within 24 hours is a normal target, not a guarantee during an outage.
